We have had no internet for over a week. The technician said their signal was blocked from us, he couldn't fix it, and that we had to find another provider. We even went all the way up the engineering/management chain, just trying to fix it.

We were with Rise for 10 years and were happy with them... I suspect there is more to it that they aren't saying... After my friends up the road got dropped by their company, it all sort of makes sense.

I tried to express my disappointment on the Rise Facebook page, but it got deleted. That's Ok. I screen-captured it after I wrote it.

It just reinforces what I have discovered about their lapse in services...

Funny thing is, we had to cancel the service since THEY could not provide it. They charged us $250 "early termination fee". It was holy heck, getting them to rescind the charge. THEY were the ones breaking the contract, and had the hardest time, seeing why we would dispute the charge and even take them to court over it... Oy-vey.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

In answer to the Pissed Consumer email inquiry... Rise is not interested in resolving this, which is fine...

They rescinded their "early termination fee"...

Good thing, too (since THEY were the ones who broke the contract)... With all the new neighborhoods going in around us, they will have a hard time competing with other companies who have much better customer service.
