RIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE

I LOVE my Rise Broadband BUT./ The phone customer Service is RIDICULOUS! I would give 2 stars based upon that if I could. My neighbor gave glowing reviews for Rise and I WOULD NOT have even CONSIDERED changing to Rise without his recommendation. So, I think he should get the referral credit. We have done everything to get it and it has NOT been posted. Every time I call to check on it I am told something different that needs to be done.

My email acct working ! This next question “did I lose any money?” I lost over 3 hrs of my time!!!! I know how much my time is worth!

Terrible customer service

After I cancelled my service another bill arrived. I called and was assured I didnt owe anything and it came out by mistake. Months later I received a collection notice. After an hour getting nowhere with an agent I asked for a supervisor. After 20 minutes I was told someone would call me back. Reluctantly I agreed knowing very well nobody would be calling. Called again today and was told the same thing. Absolutely ridiculous!

5 days until tech can fix

We scheduled a visit with tech support on Saturday Feb 26th for an internet outage They cannot come out until THURSDAY MARCH 3rd. Ridiculous. Will be researching other providers.

User's recommendation: Don't use unless uou want to be without internet.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. I finally was able to talk to a very nice representative.

She was not satisfied with the answers that I was given and didn't want to lose me as a customer. She had them replace all of my equipment and even gave me a new upgraded router, 3 months free. They cleared a monthly bill.

It's working so much better and as if now, my issue is resolved. Thank you Nicole!!.

I've had their service for years. It has slowly went to absolutely nothing most of the time. One rep said equipment on tower could have been updated or moved. Another says it could be trees. It worked in January and gone in February! They won't give me an honest answer...

Last minute Reschedule after waiting for a week

I scheduled for service a week before moving and all of a sudden the technician is sick. Now it's on Thursday and I've patiently waited until today (Monday) having to wait for another 3 days without internet (Total 2 weeks). This is *** if my internet connection is gonna be slow when it gets here Thursday. Don't get me wrong, I like Rise but this last minute scheduling is unacceptable because all you're doing is toying with my work schedule.

User's recommendation: Be prepared to have to wait for longer than a week when someone ends up "sick".

No internet

I have been without Internet for a month! They were supposed to call me when they couldnt get out in over two weeks for my first service call they never called and they showed up and just left then they scheduled another one I was waiting all morning and they showed up no call which I specifically asked them to do they said they fixed it it worked for two minutes they left its not working I need a rebate a full refund for a month maybe a month and a half I have lost work over this I have lost business over this I have not been able to print and your lack of customer service is atrocious

Poor service

When we first had Rise installed, it ran smooth and relatively fast. That was 2 months ago....Now, the service is spotty at best and fluctuates from on to off. It'll go for 10 minutes of service to 2 hours without service. Worse days, it'll be on for 2 minutes off for 10, then back on for a few minutes to gone..........Not happy in Abilene, TX.

Throttled, cant even check email

They throttle us into oblivion. we use less than half the average American uses in data. 5g fixed wireless is coming to our rural area via t-mobile later this year. it is a no-brainer. costs less and unlike this scummy monopoly rise, they do not have a data cap on speed. rise has throttled us all summer long to less than 1mps. we are lucky to get anything over that, even at 2am.

Down all summer. Full of excuses. Nothing has changed in months

Internet has been unusable all summer long. have called consistently every week, always getting the same tower problems excuse. have sent my experience to the fcc. will demand money back for the entirety of the summer. Finally have a competitor to this rise broadband awful monopoly for the first time in over a decade. 5G fixed is a better deal and doesnt throttle you into oblivion after a data cap like rise does (even with unlimited!!) Rise considers streaming abuse of their network in the fine print. so if you are ok with just using it for email and slow online shopping go right ahead.....

Just AWFUL service all summer long staring in June

We have basically not had internet for the past TWO MONTHS once school got out for the summer. The best speeds possible right now at 2am is 1~2mbps. From 6am till about 10pm it is unusable. We get 0~100Kbps during this time. Can't even check e-mail. We pay $100 a month for dial up.......IN 2021! THIS IS CRIMINAL, we have no other viable options in our area which is not in the mountains by any means We call rise broadband all the time just to let them know, hey, it's been MONTHS WITH NO SERVICE WTF. We get the same excuse that they are having tower problems. FIX IT SOON. I'm getting tired of sending the FCC my experience with these criminals.

Dishonest - No Accountability - No help

addt'l infoI have had service less than 2 months. I rec'd notice that my data amount was close.

I sent an email asking for details and specifics so I could figure out what was using all the data, so I could correct the problem. No response at all. I contacted Rise by phone, to ask about an unlimited plan they were advertising. ($50/m + t&f's) When I could finally get through to a person, I was told it was only for new customers but that I could upgrade to an unlimited plan for $66.95/m + t&f's with a $2/m discount = $64.95/m + t&f's.

Then I was charged over $80 ++. I called again and when I finally got through to a person, no one could help me, they just kept quoting prices.

They didn't offer to transfer me to anyone that could help. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no one was available.

I was quoted one price by a customer service representative and billed $20 more. When I called to discuss and could finally get through to someone, the customer service rep just kept quoting me different prices and could not give me any assistance. She didn't offer any options, didn't try to allow me to speak with someone who could help. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and I was told no one was available.

Dishonest Company

We used Rise for a few years because of limited carriers in our area. We were never happy with the service and had numerous billing issues. Finally, after another rate increase, we found another carrier with faster internet at a lower cost. We cancelled our Rise account mid month and they told us we would get a refund. Today they told us we do not get a refund since we voluntarily cancelled mid term.
