Upgraded our equipment and have a 2 yr contract with Rise. Everything was fine until the end of July when we noticed incredibly slow download speeds - > 1 mbp and we are contracted for 20.

Have spent hours on the phone and also several live chats with no resolution. Same line every time - we are passing this up to Tier 2 and call back if the problem persists. The first phone call stated that the problem is with a new software program they are using called Presera or something like that and the program keeps reverting us back to our previous service plan. So the problem is with them and not our equipment, not the tower and we don't need a new router.

Why can't they just fix the problem.

I filed a complaint with the BBB as well. Will be looking for a new provider.

Monetary Loss: $40.

Preferred solution: Fix their software so I get the service I am paying for now..

I didn't like: Not meeting promised speeds bad customer service lies lies lies, Do not receive the service that you pay for.
